Where will consultations with HR By Your Side take place?
To keep costs low and pass the savings on to clients, HR By Your Side does not maintain an office for client meetings. Meetings with employers occur at the employer’s workplace and via phone. Consultations with individuals generally occur via phone with email follow-up. If individuals prefer in-person meetings, Jeff will travel anywhere in San Francisco conducive to a quality meeting. Additional expenses, such as parking or meeting room rental if any, may be charged to the client requesting the in-person meeting.

How much does it cost to work with HR By Your Side?
HR By Your Side provides consultation and legal advice from an experienced HR professional and CA employment attorney on a project or hourly rate far below that of most attorneys. Expenses, if any, are billed at cost.
Any client funds paid in advance as an initial deposit are kept in a client trust account until earned. Any balance remaining, after services and payment are completed, will be returned to the client.
Payment is due 15 days from the date of the monthly invoice. Invoices can be issued more frequently if the client requests.

No, Jeff advises, guides and supports clients seeking beneficial outcomes to resolve their work-related issues, but he does not represent clients in disputes or lawsuits. However, Jeff is prepared to answer questions to help you decide whether you should retain another attorney to represent you in a dispute or litigation. If you decide you want an attorney to represent you, Jeff is happy to make referrals to attorneys he knows and trusts.
